Principal, Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor
Mike Robertson is the President of Robertson Engineering, inc., a consulting engineering and land surveying firm that provides residential, commercial, civil engineering design, structural engineering design, industrial site planning, fueling project planning, environmental review, senior assisted living and memory care facilities, and construction support services. Mike has over 35 years of experience developing sites including entitlement, agency approvals, and construction document preparation.
His experience includes working with numerous local, State and Federal agencies assisting public and private clients to obtain property entitlement, project planning approvals, mitigated negative declarations, construction permits, right-of-way acquisition and construction occupancy permits. He has primary responsibility as project manager and principal civil engineer for the firm’s land surveying, land planning, civil engineering, structural engineering, septic system, and petroleum engineering services.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Throughout his college years he spent the summers working for Alameda County doing research and studies in the field. Mike has been a part of the local community of Santa Rosa since moving to the area in 1976.
He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, International Code Council, Building Industry Association, and the American Public Work Association. Mike is a member of the Santa Rosa East Rotary Club and is a Past President of the club.
